Most pickup truck speeding from BMW


After just quietly testing a pickup car, BMW has now dare to open specifications from their first pickup of the car the M3 is based. This is the world's fastest pickup.

As detikOto quotes from Autocar, Friday (01/04/2011) BMW M3 pickup that had been tested at the Nurburgring circuit, though does not want to disclose the results of official tests, BMW says that when tested the speedometer needle is able to display the speed of 300 km per hour.

Ability was obtained thanks to a capacity of 4.0 liter V8 engine which is claimed capable of spraying power up to 414 bhp at 8300 rpm and torque of 295 lb-ft at 3900 rpm marriage results from a six-speed manual transmission.

In principle, this car is actually the same as a BMW M3 minus the back which is trimmed to the vessel. With such modifications, BMW M3 pickup is capable of carrying the maximum load to 450 kg or 20 pieces golf bag.

While the cabin, this pickup is not like a regular pickup minimal features. For the interior the same as M3 is standard with leather seats and steering wheel covers.

BMW claims to have gone through all the requirements needed to make their pickup is compliant with the law to take a drive and can be categorized as commercial vehicles. Although not yet known whether this car will be mass produced or just a mere concept car.
